At Eurosatory 2026, KNDS and AERIX SYSTEMS announced a strategic cooperation to integrate and industrialise next-generation drone interception capabilities, addressing the rapidly evolving aerial threat landscape.
At the core of this partnership is the AXS-µ1, AERIX SYSTEMS' autonomous aerial interceptor, which will be integrated into KNDS' multi-layered defence architecture to strengthen Counter-UAS capabilities through a comprehensive approach combining detection, command and control, and neutralisation.
Beyond technological innovation, the partnership also represents a significant industrial milestone. KNDS will manufacture AERIX SYSTEMS' drones, with production expected to scale up to 1,000 units per month from early 2027.
