Our projects
LANEGO s’engage aux côtés d’initiatives innovantes et d’écosystèmes stratégiques contribuant au développement de technologies à fort impact.
EONIOS – A Franco-Cypriot project for ocean preservation (2024)
EONIOS is a Franco-Cypriot initiative led by the CMMI (Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute), bringing together French and Cypriot companies—ARKEOCEAN, SIGNAL GENERIX, and LANEGO—within a structured industrial and technological partnership.
The project aims to protect sensitive marine areas in line with the international 30×30 target, a UN-led global framework guiding public policies, funding, and innovation toward the protection and sustainable management of 30% of land and marine areas by 2030.
EONIOS combines:
- artificial reefs to restore ecosystems
- long-endurance autonomous underwater drones
These drones operate 24/7 for several months, recharge through docking stations integrated into the reefs, and maintain continuous communication with shore via an integrated C2 system. Data collected by onboard sensors is transmitted through buoy-based relay systems equipped with solar panels and satellite antennas.
This architecture enables continuous monitoring and active protection of marine areas, while supporting biodiversity regeneration.
The contract was signed in June 2024 at the Eurosatory exhibition and was selected as a Cypriot national project at the United Nations Ocean Conference 2025 in Nice.
LANEGO est intervenu comme conseiller stratégique principal, en structurant l’alliance, le positionnement et le déploiement international.

E-Raptor – Falcon-inspired drones serving mariculture (2026)
In a context of increasing pressure on Mediterranean aquaculture operations particularly due to damage caused by protected bird species Electronic Bird Control (EBC) and the Cyprus Mariculture Association (CMA) initiated a strategic partnership to explore the deployment of an innovative, sustainable, and non-lethal technological solution.
The project is based on E-Raptor, a bio-inspired drone replicating the morphology and flight dynamics of a bird of prey. By simulating a natural predator presence, the system triggers territorial behavioral responses, reducing losses while preserving ecological balance.
Autonomous, adaptable, and requiring no heavy infrastructure, E-Raptor integrates seamlessly into existing aquaculture operations, offering an effective alternative to traditional methods, often limited or invasive.
This project illustrates a collaborative dynamic between industrial and sector stakeholders, aiming to combine technological innovation, economic performance, and environmental responsibility.
LANEGO supported Electronic Bird Control in structuring this strategic partnership, facilitating stakeholder alignment and contributing to the definition of shared objectives ahead of key engagement decisions.
Co-development of a net-based anti-drone system between AERIX SYSTEMS and SIGNAL GENERIX (2026)
In a context of increasing drone-related threats, AERIX SYSTEMS and SIGNAL GENERIX have initiated a collaboration to develop a sovereign net-based drone neutralization solution.
The project focuses on an interceptor drone capable of capturing hostile drones in flight using a net-based system, enabling controlled neutralization without destruction particularly suited for sensitive and constrained environments.
This capability relies on the performance of AERIX’s drone platform: high agility in flight, trajectory precision, stability during interception, and the ability to operate in complex environments. These features enable controlled engagements at close range, a key requirement for effective net-based neutralization.
This approach addresses the growing need to protect critical infrastructure, strategic sites, and regulated areas, offering an alternative to kinetic or jamming-based solutions, which are often limited in civilian or constrained environments.
The collaboration between AERIX and SIGNAL GENERIX aims to strengthen European technological capabilities by combining expertise in autonomous aerial systems with SIGNAL GENERIX’s capabilities in sensors, secure communications, and edge computing. This enables local data processing and rapid decision-making in degraded environments.
LANEGO supported the structuring of the partnership, facilitating alignment between stakeholders and contributing to the definition of industrial, technological, and market positioning.

PLEIADES – A research project funded by the European Defence Fund (EDF) (2025)
LANEGO is a partner in the PLEIADES project, a research initiative funded by the European Defence Fund (EDF).
PLEIADES is a European research and innovation project focused on developing advanced autonomous technologies for complex maritime operations, particularly in contested environments. The project explores the deployment of swarms of Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs) launched from naval platforms, with the objective of enhancing stealth, operational reach, and situational awareness.
The consortium brings together 8 partners (7 SMEs and 1 academic organisation) from 5 EU Member States, combining industrial, technological, and scientific expertise across the full value chain.
The project addresses key challenges in modern naval operations, including detection risk reduction, underwater communication constraints, and multi-domain autonomous coordination.
Within this framework, LANEGO contributes notably to communication, dissemination, and project valorisation activities, facilitating collaboration between partners and strengthening the visibility of results within European defence and innovation ecosystems.

Defense Angels – a business angel network specialized in defence
Defense Angels is the leading business angel network dedicated to funding and supporting startups developing innovative technologies in the fields of defence, security, and dual-use.
In this context, as an active member of the network, LANEGO contributes to the innovation ecosystem by identifying high-potential technology projects, facilitating connections between entrepreneurs, investors, and industrial partners, and supporting the strategic development of early-stage innovative companies.
This involvement reflects LANEGO’s commitment to advancing European strategic technologies and strengthening the innovation ecosystem in the defence and security sectors.
